Sound Art and Artistic Research
In 2025, the Sound Studies Center was one of the initiators of a “special interest group” (SIG) on sound and sound art within the Society of Artistic Research (SAR). The founders are Karl Salzman (Angewandte Vienna), Nele Möller (KU Leuven/LUCA School of Arts Brussels), Salomé Voegelin (London College of Communication, University of the Arts London), Anthea Caddy (independent artist and researcher), and Marcel Cobussen. More information about this SIG can be found here.
