Minji Kim

Based between Den Haag and Seoul, the artist is a PhD candidate at ACPA, Leiden University, researching listening as an artistic methodology within acoustic ecology. Since founding Acoustic Territories in 2021, a field-based listening workshop and publishing platform, their practice has examined coastal infrastructures and reclaimed sites of ecological and political negotiation. Their research-led work has been developed through residencies at Sonic Acts and Hyundai Motor Group ZER01NE, listening as a situated practice of ecological responsibility.
